The Begining
Well this is my first time blogging and I'm kind of nervous, so please, bare with me.
I just wanted to started out with the beginging of our life, Jed and mine, together. We met over facebook... I know, I know, but hey, it all worked out. Our first date was to Jed's ward "Ski The Beav" night, February 1st, 2008, and that's where I taught him how to snowboard. The very next night some of my girlfriends and I went to Jed's house, which he was renting with three other guys, and played games and watched a movie. We held hands for the first time that night. Two nights later we kissed, the following night we said "I Love You" and the rest is history.
We dated for about 10 months and got engaged on December 7th, 2008. I love our proposal story... We were hunting Christmas trees. It was Jed, me, his parents, his brother Quirt and Brick (Flint was still serving his mission at the time) Jed's cousin Emily and her kids, Jeds cousin Valein, her husband Kay and there two kids... and my dog Little Bear. Jed and I already knew were gonna get married at some point so while the rest of us were looking for the perfect Christmas tree, Jed was looking for the perfect trees to make us a pine bed out of (which that's what he gave me for my wedding present... a beautiful pine bed that he made with his own two hands with the help of the dad and brothers. I LOVE our bed! And don't worry, he got a goregous pocket watch.) Anyhow...
While hiking around looking for that perfect Christmas tree I had found a fun little cave sitting in the rocky hillside. So I went to go find Jed so I could show him the cave (keep in mind that I really had on idea what other plans Jed had for that day) and on our way to the cave we found a really cool tree that we cut to be the log that is our top log on our head board, it curves and has lots of knots, it really neat looking. And it was up in the cave that Jed proposed. I LOVE my ring!! The diamond was a my great-grandmothers and Jed help design the new setting for the it. It's simply goregous.
We were married in the Boise temple on March 7th, 2009 at high noon. It was the happiest day of my life!
We now live in Logan, Utah while Jed continues studing Animal Science at Utah State University. Our plans for after Jed graduates are still up in the air for the moment..... we'll see if he goes to vet school or just continues working in the animal research department.
And that's our life in a quick page. We have two dogs, a tri-colored male Corgi named Little Bear and a 1/2 Boarder Collie, 1/4 Catahoula, 1/4 McNabe cow mutt female names Lacie Lou and we love them both. We live a small, adorable and oh so comfortable apartment above a building that they test milk samples in and it's right on USU's North Farm so there's a good chunck of ground for our dogs to run around on... and yeah. Life is good. I love my husband and our life.
That's all for now.
